2016 dates for your diary

It's almost the middle of the year - this time means two things:

  1. Year 12'ers are almost finished high school forever, and
  2. It's almost time for big life decisions to be made.

To uni, or not to uni - that is the question. The below events will hopefully help you find answers as you decide what to do after you graduate from high school. Just in case you haven't heard of them, here is a short snippet on each:

  • TSXPO - The Tertiary Studies Expo (TSXPO) is ideal for all senior school students, parents, mature age and prospective post-graduate students to learn about tertiary study. TSXPO gives you access to over 250 qualified educational representatives, including UQ, all in one location!
  • Open Day - Learning how to plan a successful QTAC application, hearing about scholarships and exchange opportunities, and getting tips from current university students, are all options for anyone attending the UQ St Lucia Open Day. Come along and explore the St Lucia campus, check out our world-class facilities, learn more about the many study and career options available, visit the UQ Centre information hub, meet inspiring teachers and staff, and experience the campus lifestyle.
  • Pharmacy Experience Day - Experience a day in the life of a Pharmacy student at UQ. Participate in hands-on lab activities, take a guided tour of the impressive PACE facility (the home of Pharmacy at UQ), learn how our Pharmacy degree opens many doors for postgraduate study (particularly medicine) and enjoy a free BBQ lunch whilst you mingle with lecturers, current students, and other like-minded students. Registrations now open.
